Overview

Bridgend County Borough Council has awarded a framework for provision of Flying Start childcare services to 28 providers across two lots (childminders and childcare providers), with a contract value of £11,821,210 and an initial term of two years from April 2026 to March 2028, extendable by up to 36 months. The framework will deliver childcare places to eligible children in Bridgend funded through the Flying Start and Flying Start Expansion programmes, with options to reopen and conduct competitive processes for subsequent frameworks during the maximum five-year scheme term.
