EPQMS PHARMACEUTICAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership has awarded a contract worth £94,080 to Bizzmine UK Limited on 29 June 2026 for the supply and support of an Electronic Pharmaceutical Quality Management System (ePQS) software platform. The system is essential for maintaining regulatory compliance with MHRA Good Manufacturing Practice standards and EU GMP requirements across pharmacy technical services, including aseptic preparation and the new Radiopharmacy unit. The direct award was made to the incumbent supplier as the sole provider capable of delivering the necessary licences and support, with switching to an alternative system deemed infeasible due to extensive revalidation requirements that would introduce significant compliance risks.
