PP-10173 Co-op Academies Trust Catering

The Co-operative Academies Trust has awarded a catering services contract to Cater Link Limited, Miquill Catering Limited, and Mellors Catering Services Limited for £31.8 million. The contract covers catering provision across approximately 32 of the trust's 38 academies in West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, and Staffordshire, including primary, secondary, special schools, and a college, with a three-year initial term plus two optional one-year extensions. The successful bidders are responsible for staffing, food supply, meal preparation and service, hospitality provision, and compliance with nutritional standards and food safety regulations, while the trust retains responsibility for utilities and core equipment maintenance.
