Supply, Installation and Training for P50 Fire Extinguishers & Disposal of Steel Extinguishers

Hampshire County Council has awarded a framework agreement for the supply, installation, training, and disposal of P50 fire extinguishers, along with the disposal of traditional steel extinguishers, to Eastern Extinguishers Limited and Safelincs Limited for £650 million. The framework will support the estates of Hampshire County Council and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Services, and be available to other contracting authorities including local authorities, schools, academies, and third sector organisations in the region. The P50 extinguishers are composite alternatives to steel models, requiring no discharge testing or refilling for up to ten years and reducing maintenance costs and environmental impact.
