Provision of Direct Payments Support Service for the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham commissioned a Self-Directed Support Service to assist residents considering or already using self-direction for their care and support, with a focus on increasing Direct Payments uptake and enabling choice and control in arranging care. The service, awarded to Action on Disability for £847,770, supports Adult Social Care priorities including providing quality information and advice, promoting wellbeing, and ensuring residents have a say in meeting their care and support needs.
