Suffolk Night Owls

NHS Suffolk and North East Essex ICB has awarded a contract to Suffolk Mind for £177,092 to deliver Suffolk Night Owls, a seven-nights-a-week emotional support helpline service operating from 6:30pm to 1:00am for approximately 1,300 registered service users with complex needs, including those with personality disorder diagnoses. The service provides up to 20-minute telephone support sessions, text and email contact, booked appointments, and professional referrals including safeguarding intervention where required. Staff receive training in helpline delivery, suicide prevention, risk assessment, safeguarding, and mental health first aid.
