Main Contractors Framework 2026

London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine has awarded a framework agreement valued at £63 million to eight contractors (8Build Limited, Alpine Works Limited, Aston Heating Ltd, Estilo Interiors Limited, Russell Cawberry Limited, SHIELD MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL & FACILITIES SERVICES LTD, T & B (CONTRACTORS) LIMITED, and VINCI FACILITIES LIMITED) for main construction and MEP works across its estate. The framework covers two lots: Lot 1 for traditional or design-and-build construction projects (up to £60 million), and Lot 2 for mechanical, electrical and public health contractor services including plant replacement and refurbishment works in occupied research buildings (up to £3 million), with typical call-off values ranging from £250,000–£10 million for Lot 1 and £10,000–£150,000 for Lot 2.
