Overview

Wealden District Council appointed Neilcott Construction Limited as main contractor on 3 March 2026 for £10.1 million to deliver a new three-storey primary care medical centre in Polegate and Willingdon. The approximately 2,003 m² facility will co-locate two existing GP practices and will be built to BREEAM excellent standards with sustainable features including solar panels and air source heat pumps. The contractor was initially appointed under a Pre-Construction Services Agreement and subsequently under a JCT Design and Build 2016 contract for full delivery of the works.
