National Clinical Audit of Seizures and Epilepsies in Children and Young People

The Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership Ltd awarded a contract to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health on 12 May 2026 to deliver the National Clinical Audit of Seizures and Epilepsies in Children and Young People for NHS-funded care in England, Wales, and publicly funded care in Jersey for an initial 3-year period at £1,051,800 GBP excluding VAT, with potential extension for two additional years. The audit will measure variations in quality, experience and outcomes of care for children and young people with seizures and epilepies, provide timely data to healthcare providers for improvement, engage patients and families meaningfully, and support local and national quality improvements aligned with NICE guidance.
