Overview

Transport for Greater Manchester has awarded a £160,000 contract to the School for Social Entrepreneurs to deliver the Trading for Good programme in Bury from 2025 to March 2030 as part of the Bury Interchange redevelopment project. The four-year partnership will support 80 social and community entrepreneurs (20 annually) through nine-month cohort-based learning programmes, Match Trading grants of up to £4,000 per participant, and market-making activities delivered in collaboration with New Local. The contract has been signed and is now complete.
