Leachate Treatment Plant Blowers - Provision and Installation
- Published
- Published 11 September 2025
Overview
Plymouth City Council was seeking suppliers to supply, deliver and install 4x aeration blowers as part of the upgrade works at the Leachate Treatment Plant (LTP). The upgrade is being undertaken to improve the operational reliability and efficiency of the plant's aeration system, which plays a critical role in the biological treatment of leachate.
The Environment Agency (EA) has stated that they require the aeration blowers to be replaced for quieter units to reduce the noise impact to residents in the adjacent housing development.
