Private Rented Sector Licensing and Inspection

Reading Borough Council has awarded a contract to HOME SAFE DELIVERY PARTNERS LTD worth £3,479,000 (against an estimated value of £2,654,880) to administer private rented sector licensing and inspection across the borough. The scope covers delivery of additional licensing for smaller houses in multiple occupation across the entire borough (approximately 1,600 properties) and selective licensing in three wards—Battle, Park, and Redlands—covering approximately 5,200 properties combined, under a five-year contract with possible two-year extension to address poor property conditions and housing hazards.
