Informed Voices: Developing Critical Skills for Democracy

Ofcom awarded a contract to Parent and Family Consulting Limited (Parent Zone) on 11 December 2025 to deliver media literacy activities across the UK in relation to elections. The initial one-year contract covers a media literacy campaign and supporting activities for the Scottish and Welsh elections in May 2026, with scope including consultation with youth organisations, development of campaign materials, stakeholder engagement, and evaluation against critical thinking outcomes; additional activities in subsequent years relating to other elections may be undertaken at Ofcom's discretion.
