Overview

The National Audit Office has awarded a Financial Audit and Assurance Services Contract to six firms: Deloitte LLP, Ernst & Young LLP, Forvis Mazars LLP, Grant Thornton UK LLP, KPMG LLP, and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for a total value of £56.8 million. The contract covers the delivery of financial audit services across 14 lots spanning various public sector entities, including government departments, health bodies, charities, and other organizations, for an initial three-year period from September 2026 to August 2029 with an option to extend for two further years. The audits will be conducted to International Standards on Auditing with adaptations for the UK public sector reporting framework and regularity requirements.
