Overview

Havant Borough Council awarded a contract worth £14 million to Jackson Civil Engineering Ltd on 30 April 2026 for the construction of a 1 km flood and coastal defence scheme at Langstone, Havant, which will protect 53 residential and 4 business properties, critical infrastructure including the A3023 highway to Hayling Island, and heritage assets.
