Home improvement minor works - overarching

Durham County Council awarded a £4 million overarching framework contract on 30 July 2025 to 14 contractors for minor home improvement works including extensions, garage conversions, and internal/external alterations for disabled clients over a four-year period, funded subject to grant approval. The framework covers works for the Home Improvement Agency programme, with contractors required to be local to project locations and not guaranteed any specific works. Individual works will follow Durham County Council's contract procedure rules and applicable grant funding requirements.
