Framework for Transportation

Renfrewshire Council has awarded a framework for transportation services to twelve providers to supply bus, taxi, and private hire car services for council service users including children and adults with additional support needs, tenants, and other users. The framework, which commenced 17 June 2026, comprises four lots covering ASN buses, ASN taxis, ad-hoc buses, and ad-hoc taxis, with the primary users being Children's Services and the framework available to all council services. Call-off contracts will be issued throughout the framework's duration for transport between service users' locations and required destinations such as schools, day care centres, and leisure facilities.
