Overview

Cornwall Council has awarded a 10-year domestic abuse and sexual violence support services contract to Barnardo Services Limited and The Women's Centre Cornwall for £16.7 million. The contract comprises three lots: a community domestic abuse service providing helpline, advocacy, and outreach support; recovery and therapeutic services including trauma processing and behaviour change programmes; and training and education on healthy relationships and domestic abuse awareness. Providers are expected to work collaboratively to deliver an integrated service with a single point of access referral pathway.

    To include; • Recovery and therapeutic support programmes delivered via both 1:1 and group support including trauma stabilisation and trauma processing for those impacted by domestic abuse adults and children. • Behaviour change and interventions (abusive person) programme (for adults and children). • Trauma stabilisation interventions for those who have experienced/ witnessed and/or been impacted by domestic abuse. • Peer mentoring programme • Psychoeducational interventions for adults and children affected by Domestic abuse.
