Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (LEVI Fund)

Essex County Council has awarded four concession contracts valued at £334.18 million to Believ Limited and QWELLO (UK) LTD to install, manage, maintain, and replace electric vehicle charging equipment across Essex under the Local Electric Vehicle (LEVI) Fund. The contracts require the delivery of three technology types of charge points totalling a minimum of 5,000 operational sockets for public use, particularly serving residential areas without off-street parking, over a 15-year term with an optional 12-month extension.
