NHS Digital Weight Management Programme

NHS England awarded contracts for the NHS Digital Weight Management Programme, a nationally commissioned digital weight management service for patients with BMI 30+ and identified comorbidities. The programme comprises three lots offering varying levels of coaching support (self-directed, 50-minute coaching, or 100-minute coaching with health equity focus) and includes 12-week behavioural lifestyle interventions with dietary advice, physical activity guidance, and progress reporting. Five providers were awarded contracts: DDM Health Ltd, Liva Healthcare, Pulse Healthcare Ltd (Acacium Group), Pulse Healthcare Ltd (Acaciym Group), and Second Nature, with an initial 27-month term and potential extensions up to 51 months total, with a maximum contract value of £42 million.
