Provision of Passenger Transport - Open Framework Round 2

Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council established an open framework for the provision of hired passenger transport services including buses, mini-buses, coaches, taxis, and private hire vehicles for council use, primarily within Sefton but occasionally extending beyond the borough. The framework runs from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2029 with an optional 48-month extension, and 25 transport operators were awarded contracts on 29 April 2026 following the second reopening of the framework.
