Derby City Council and Derbyshire County Council procured a block contract for two 2-bedroom specialist children's homes to serve young people with challenging behaviour and complex mental health needs across the D2 footprint, combining local authority property provision with NHS therapeutic support. The service provides short-to-medium stays for children at risk of inappropriate CAMHS admission or experiencing placement breakdown, with a focus on stabilisation and transition planning. Frontline Health Professionals Ltd was awarded the contract on 25 March 2026 for the full estimated value of £22,995,000.
