Term Service Contract for the Fire Safety Compliance Services for Council Managed Assets

Portsmouth City Council has awarded a term service contract worth £16 million to RGE Services Limited for fire safety compliance services across its housing stock of approximately 17,500 properties and corporate assets. The contract, which commenced delivery following the award on 12 May 2026, covers statutory servicing inspections, responsive repairs, and planned maintenance works including fire alarm testing, sprinkler systems, fire doors, lightning conductors, and 365-day out-of-hours emergency cover. The scope consolidates existing fire compliance functions and includes future provisions for up to 1,000 additional dwellings and compliance with evolving fire safety and building safety regulations.
