Supervision of Forensic Psychologists in Training

HM Prisons and Probation Service has awarded a framework contract worth £2,626,400 for supervision services provided by registered forensic psychologists to support trainee forensic psychologists in custody and probation settings. The contract, awarded to six providers including Forensic Psychology Consultants Ltd, Psychological Services UK Limited, Remix Psychological Services, and The Forensic Psychologist Service (South) Ltd, covers both coordinating clinical supervision and ad-hoc project-based supervision on a remote or in-person basis as needed. Services are delivered on a flexible volume basis with no guaranteed volumes, and supervisors must meet HMPPS quality standards and demonstrate competency in psychological risk assessment for parole board decision-making.
