The Greater London Authority established the RE:FIT 5 Framework, a national energy performance contracting framework running from 2026 to 2030, to deliver energy efficiency, renewable energy generation, and decarbonisation services across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Six service providers—Ameresco Ltd, Asset Plus Energy Performance Ltd, Dalkia Energy Services Ltd, Honeywell Limited, TESGL Ltd (SSE Energy Solutions), and Vital Energi Utilities Ltd—were awarded contracts valued at £6 billion in June 2026 to develop, design, construct, operate, maintain and verify energy efficiency projects with guaranteed performance outcomes for public sector and charitable organisations.
