Overview

Warrington Borough Council is establishing an open Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of specialist residential and respite services for adults aged 18–64 with complex needs. The requirement is split into four lots covering in-borough and out-of-borough long-term residential care and short-term respite care, with placements to be awarded via mini-competitions. The DPS carries an estimated total value of £65 million and remains open for applications until 28 September 2028.

  • Residential Respite Care – In Warrington

    Providers will offer short-term respite care, including planned and emergency stays, for adults with complex needs within Warrington, giving carers a break while supporting individuals in a safe environment.

  • Residential Respite Care – Outside Warrington

    Providers will deliver short-term respite care, including emergency placements, for adults with complex needs outside Warrington, providing flexibility for families and access to specialist settings if required.
