Lancaster City Council has appointed Alt-Solar Limited for £2.72 million to design, procure and construct solar photovoltaic installations at two sites: approximately 4MWp ground-mounted array at Burrow Beck and approximately 782kWp rooftop installation at Gateway Building in Lancaster. The scope includes provision of solar PV equipment and principal contractor and principal designer services under CDM Regulations, with grid connection works at Burrow Beck to be handled separately by an ICP contractor.
