Overview

Dorset Council established a multi-supplier framework agreement for site investigation and materials testing services, including field and laboratory testing of civil engineering materials, geotechnical and geo-environmental investigations, highway and structure assessment, and specialist advice for construction and maintenance projects. Four suppliers were awarded to the framework on 16 July 2025 with a total value of £16 million: ACS Testing Limited, Jackson Drilling Holdings Limited, Leyden Kirby Associates Limited (trading as The LK Group), and SOCOTEC UK Limited. The framework is now in delivery and is also accessible to Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, with call-off orders to be placed via direct award or further competition.
