Overview

The Crown Commercial Service procured a replacement cloud-based Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system to manage energy portfolios for over 1,200 public sector customers with annual spend exceeding £1.5 billion. The system was awarded to VuePoint Solutions Limited and other suppliers for £3.34 million on 6 October 2025, and is now in delivery. The ETRM records trades and demand forecasts, calculates positions and valuations, and provides portfolio reporting functionality to support risk-managed energy products for power and gas.
