Framework for Disabled Adaptations

Vale of Glamorgan Council has awarded a framework for disabled adaptation works to six contractors: 2D Building Contractors Ltd, Consilio Construction and Architecture Ltd, Kingfisher Developments (Wales) Limited, Physical Adaptation Solutions Limited, R & M Williams (Holdings) Limited, and Whill Construction Ltd, for a total value of £7,270,104. The framework, which commenced in April 2025 and runs for two years with an option to extend for a further two years, will deliver adaptations to help eligible individuals remain independent at home through Disabled Facilities Grants and the Council's Housing Adaptations Team, covering works ranging from external access modifications and safety improvements to bathroom adaptations, kitchen modifications, and property extensions.
