London Screen Academy Catering

The London Screen Academy is a specialist Sixth Form Academy in the London Borough of Islington. Part of the Day One Trust, it has 833 students on roll and over 80 teaching and support staff. The Academy is located in a former factory in Islington. The 80,000Sq Ft factory was built in the 1930s and was transformed into a world class film Academy in 2019. There is one busy main restaurant with a modern, well equipped and compact kitchen. There are no LGPS pensions in the catering team.The contract is starting on January 1st 2025 and an accelerated two stage restricted process is being used for the procurement. The Academy continues to forge a bright new future for the students and the film industry under the leadership of the Principal, Charlie Kennard MBE.
