Framework for Overhead Line Construction Works - Distribution Voltages

SSE plc has established a framework agreement for overhead line construction works across distribution voltages (LV, 11kV, 33kV, 66kV and 132kV), including construction, refurbishment, maintenance and dismantlement of overhead lines and wood poles, along with ancillary services such as jointing, cable installation, traffic management, excavation and emergency response. The framework was awarded on 6 July 2026 to five contractors: CONNECT IT UTILITY SERVICES LIMITED, IPSUM POWER (LICENSED NETWORKS) LIMITED, OCU UTILITY SERVICES LTD, OCU Utility Services Ltd, and The Freedom Group of Companies Ltd, and is currently in delivery.
