NHS England has awarded a contract worth £116.2 million to North London NHS Foundation Trust and Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust to deliver the London Liaison and Diversion Service and Mental Health Treatment Requirement Service for Men across London's criminal justice system. The services identify and support vulnerable individuals with mental health, neurodiverse needs, or substance misuse issues when they come into contact with youth and criminal justice systems, operating across custody suites, courts, and community settings, and provide mental health treatment interventions for men referred through the courts as part of community sentences. The five-year contract, signed in June 2025, includes an optional two-year extension.
