Southampton City Council has awarded a five-year highways services contract to Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering Limited (BBCE) for a maximum value of £120 million, effective from 29 September 2025. The contract will be delivered through the SCAPE Civil Engineering Framework Agreement and covers main highways services including maintenance, traffic management, civil engineering works, and related professional services. Balfour Beatty Living Places Limited will deliver the contract through an intercompany arrangement with BBCE.
