• Lot 1: Research, innovation, technology and management

  Jisc has appointed a consultancy to assess the impact of our research on the participating HEPs in phase three, thus further promoting our findings and recommendations to the wider sector, Jisc is commissioning a fourth phase. In this TNE research pilot programme, we plan to continue our collaboration with 12 of our participating HE providers, to: Support the pilots in turning their institutional findings - together with engagement with our sector recommendations - into strategic action/improvement plans Report to the sector on the impact of our Global education and technology research on our pilots’ TNE delivery. This report will include an agreed number vignettes of practice. This phase four of work will also give Jisc insights into what a future TNE consultancy offer for the sector might include.

• Lot 2. Immersive and simulated technology services

  Jisc is looking for suppliers who can deliver services and support in relation to immersive technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), extended reality (XR), and immersive and simulated technologies supporting the emerging concept of the metaverse.  We envisage that simulated and immersive content will be viewed on a wide range of devices and suppliers would demonstrate an awareness of accessibility standards. • Lot 3. Scholarly communications, information and library services

  Jisc is looking for suppliers who can offer consultancy services support in the development and review of new forms of scholarly communication (including teaching and learning), information management, and related library technical solutions. Additional information: Attached as document

• Lot 4. Research for digital transformation of teaching, learning, assessment and student experience

  Jisc is looking for suppliers who can provide expert support for research and development activities in the digital transformation of learning, teaching, assessment and the student experience. Additional information: Attached as document

• Lot 5. Market horizon scan, trends, insights and competitor analysis research

  Jisc is looking for market research to understand the market trends, attitudes, behaviours and insights of specific market segments in the UK and internationally. Market segments may include end users such as students and researchers as well as staff. This research may include competitor analysis and an assessment of whether the market would support development of existing and/ or new technology-based products and services.
