Overview

East Sussex County Council is establishing an Approved List for supported accommodation and accommodation-based support services for vulnerable children and young people aged 16–21, including care leavers, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, and young homeless individuals with varying support needs. The list, valued at approximately £56.6 million, will remain open for applications until May 2027 with potential extension for up to 24 months, with evaluations undertaken at least twice yearly. Only the Council may direct awards or run mini-competitions from the list, and bidders must comply with Ofsted registration requirements for supported accommodation providers.
