DHSC:TDD: Technology, Digital and Data (TDD) Operating Model Sprint

The Department of Health and Social Care engaged Guidehouse Europe Limited to conduct a time-bound operating model sprint defining the optimal central Technology, Digital and Data function for the health and care system, including safe transition planning to April 2027 and beyond. The sprint encompasses defining a future digital centre's functions, clarifying central versus federated decision-making, developing organizational structure options with workforce strategy, and creating an implementation plan with interim and end-state models. This work was awarded on 15 June 2026 for £948,000 and includes approximately three months of specialist consultancy supported by dedicated working teams and governance structures.
