Overview

BlueLight Commercial is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the supply of mobile preliminary roadside drug testing devices and associated consumables under two lots: Lot 1 comprises unpowered, single-use disposable devices with test cartridges to detect cannabis and cocaine from saliva samples, and Lot 2 comprises powered, reusable handheld devices with the same detection capability but powered from mains, generated, or battery sources. All devices must maintain Home Office Type Approval for police use in Great Britain and support the Road Traffic Act 1988 Section 5A framework, with an estimated procurement value of £10 million and a submission deadline of 30 May 2027.
