Overview

The Bill Discount Scheme (BDS) is a new scheme that Ofgem has been asked to be the Scheme Administrator of. BDS is a crucial component of the Governments Net Zero Plans, helping play a role in ensuring new electrical infrastructure can be rolled out faster by financially rewarding communities who host this infrastructure. Ofgem needs support from a supplier to build a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Proof of concept/sandpit to test the functionality of being able to do an automatic radius search for eligible properties, and matching to an MPAN Database, as the alternative/paper route/non-digital would be non-economical from either a time, resource or cost perspective.
