Overview

As part of the University's commitment to provide value for money, we are seeking a retained cost checking service to provide independent quantity surveying and cost management services at key stages of the design and delivery of the capital portfolio for projects that are procured via the PSP. The role will provide independent oversight and robust assurance that projects are being delivered in line with industry norms, benchmarking and in particular, on a 'Best Value for Money Basis'. The appointed Supplier will also provide support to the Capital Projects team in providing quarterly cash flow reports for the University's capital programme, as well as ad hoc quantity surveying and cost management services as and when required.
