St George's Guildhall & Creative Hubs Main Contractor

The Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk has appointed Messenger Construction Ltd as main contractor for the redevelopment of St George's Guildhall, a medieval listed building and historic theatre in Kings Lynn, valued at £20.3 million. The project, delivered in partnership with the National Trust and Norfolk Museums Service, encompasses comprehensive construction works including structural elements, roofing, external and internal finishes, theatre technical services, building services, and landscape works on the constrained historic site. The works are to be carried out under a JCT Standard Building Contract with Quantities, with the completed facility to be operated by a charitable organisation dedicated to preserving the Guildhall.
