Herefordshire Council - New Public Realm Services Contract

Herefordshire Council has awarded a public realm services contract to M Group Highways Ltd for an initial term of 6 years 10 months, with options to extend up to 10 years total, commencing 1 June 2026. The contract covers core services including network resilience, winter service, reactive and planned maintenance of carriageways and footways, drainage, street lighting, structures, street cleaning, fleet management, parks and open spaces, bereavement services, bus shelter maintenance, public art, and public rights of way works. The contract was awarded at £117.8 million against an estimated value of £200 million.
