Overview

Westmorland and Furness Council ('the Council') is seeking to appoint a multidisciplinary consultancy team to undertake scheme development and preliminary design for a key corridor into / out of Penrith town centre, the Sandgate-Fell Lane Corridor, identified in the Penrith LCWIP Walking Network as Walking Route 2 (WR2). The improvement also includes Sandgate and the junction with Fell Lane/Meeting House Lane and Benson Row which fall within the Core Walking Zone (CWZ).
