Overview

Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council and Dorset Council jointly procured the supply, installation, operation, and maintenance of public electric vehicle charging infrastructure (primarily 7kW on-street residential charge points) in the BCP Council area under a 15-year concession contract. Connected Kerb was awarded the contract on 4 September 2025 for £64,231,706, with the councils contributing £1.447m and £2.490m respectively in LEVI capital funding, while the concessionaire was required to finance at least 60% of the subsidy through commercial investment.
