Overview

Biffa Waste Services Ltd has been awarded an £200 million contract by Hampshire County Council on behalf of Arun District Council to provide combined cleansing services, including kerbside residential waste collection (residual, recycling, and garden waste), weekly food waste, street and highway cleansing, graffiti removal, and public toilet maintenance across Arun District. The eight-year contract, commencing 1 February 2026 with an option to extend for a further eight years, serves approximately 160,000 residents and supports four million annual visitors to local tourist destinations.
