Overview
Durham County Council have a requirement for the production and postage relating to the 2025 Annual Canvass, which we are required to undertake by law to ensure the information we hold on the electoral register is up to date and to help identify any residents who are not registered to vote so that they can be encouraged to do so.
This includes the production of canvass forms (CF), Canvass Communication A forms (CCA), Canvass Communication B forms (CCB) and Invitation to Register forms (ITR) and reminder forms as well as the production of associated mailing and reply paid envelopes. Postage costs associated with mailing out the forms to each household is also required. The most suitable & efficient route to market for this requirement was to call-off from the NEPO 504 framework agreement in order to maintain the continuity with the previous provision.
