CWC25169A - BCT Lye A458 Connectivity

Wolverhampton City Council, on behalf of Black Country Transport, has appointed Amey OW Ltd to develop a transport connectivity project for Lye town centre and surrounding areas in Dudley Borough. The scope includes improvements to Lye high street, enhanced connectivity from Lye railway station to the high street via the A4036, an active travel route along part of the A458, and a feasibility study for dualling Lye bypass. The contract was awarded on 16 June 2026 for £144,911.22 using the Midland Highways Alliance PSP4 Lot 2 Framework.
