Overview

The Mining Remediation Authority (MRA) is seeking a contractor to provide battery energy storage solutions for two of our Mine Water Treatment Schemes (MWTS) where solar PV systems are already installed. For each site, the costs for the following items was requested: • Battery Energy Storage System(s) (BESS) • Battery Energy Management System (BEMS) • Replacement of existing solar PV inverters where required to ensure compatibility with the retrofitted BESS. Additional information: We have completed a compliant procurement by mini competition through the Crown Commercial Services Demand Management and Renewal Framework (RM6314).
