Rotherham Town Centre Strategic Sites Development

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council has awarded Capital & Centric (RUST) Limited a contract worth £397,442 to develop Strategic Regeneration Plans for five key town centre sites as Stage One of a phased partnership to accelerate regeneration. The full arrangement, with an estimated total value of £100,000,000 across three stages, will bring forward mixed-use developments at sites including Corporation Street, Snail Yard, Westgate, Sheffield Road, and the former Magistrates Court, with progression to subsequent stages subject to gateway approvals. Stage One is expected to complete by 31 July 2026, followed by Full Business Cases (Stage Two) and Development (Stage Three) as part of the council's vision for physical, social, and economic regeneration of Rotherham Town Centre.
