Overview

The Home Office has awarded a contract worth £11.3 million to Leonardo UK Limited for the supply of an MCX Dispatcher and related services for the Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme (ESMCP). The supplier will provide a standalone MCX Dispatcher product that enables desk-based operators to access supervisory and control elements of the MCX services and Emergency Services Network (ESN) capabilities through a graphical user interface, initially for testing by the ESMCP programme and subsequently for limited deployment in emergency service control rooms during transition from Airwave to ESN.
